Back from the Battlefield ...

See what happened? I manage time to blog while I'm away from the physical activities of Film Fest, but I get back into town and haven't blogged in two weeks. I can't make excuses, and actually I don't have to as they are not "tales" or stretches of the imagine, but the hard cold facts. I have been BUSY. We have two weeks until the fest hits the ground running, and a little more than a week before my Documentary Filmmaking Workshop starts on June 14. I can't even imagine where all the time has gone. A year since our last Fest and 4 1/2 months since my trip to Sundance. Here it is June 5... I sure HOPE we're ready

Heck, somebody said it best at tonight's Board meeting... "if we're not ready, it's happening anyway". It's always a nail biter, we're always stressing right up to the moment and then we seem to just relax in the moment, and soon we forgot about the potential BAD moment. It's all good, but it certainly doesn't seem to get any easier.

So much has happened in the last two weeks and I don't even have the time to discuss it all tonight, but promise to catch up later this week. For now I just wanted to let you know that I AM still alive. And yes, THERE IS A FILM FESTIVAL HAPPENING IN SOUTH BETHLEHEM, Pennsylvania, June 19-23: SouthSide Film Festival. Check it out...
